Small church pastors! Do you feel the overwhelming weight, burden, and intense pressure of ministry life like never before? Have you recently isolated yourself just to maintain sanity? Ever feel like you're trying to pull a train uphill while all the passengers onboard are busy shifting it into reverse? You are not alone! Shepherding and leading a small to midsize church in America is one of the most difficult endeavors in today's culture. And for pastors, it is physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually draining. How can you find time to care for yourself when your calling is to spend your life pouring into others?

At 6:14 Ministries, we are dedicated to providing pastors of small and midsize churches with the encouragement, tools and resources they need in order to lead more effectively. Part of leading effectively is knowing when and how to rest and when and how to care for yourself, neither of which come easy for the majority of pastors in America today.

ABOUT THE VENUE

Camp Whispering Pines is nestled among 76 beautiful acres in South Alabama and is part of the Mobile Baptist Network. Founded in 1947, the campus was formerly the site of Hotel Cirtronelle. The first camp at CWP was the Girls In Action Missions Camp and was actually housed in the old Hotel Citronelle in the summer of 1947. Nestled among the woods near beautiful Lake Chautauqua, CWP offers sleeping accommodations for up to 250-plus people through the provision of dorms and hotel rooms. Indoor amenities include everything from meeting rooms to an activity center/gym, which is also available for larger groups to use as a worship space. The activity center even boasts a climbing wall and several other features. Outdoor activities include a ropes course, rec field, swimming pool, lake swimming, and paintball.
